I never know what or who  will inspire my next  proprietary blend!  Chris inspired this blend .  One of Robbie’s best friends and a second son to me – ok,  I have many “second sons”.. .Robbie is just that kinda guy…  Chris loves to surf! I think that’s why he moved down to Christopher Newport – I’ll never know how Robbie and Chris strapped a couple of surf boards to Randy’s taurus one weekend returning from the beach  – I wish I had a camera is all I can say  and am glad Randy never saw it!!

One afternoon in the roaster room we were just messing around with fresh coffee hot out of the drum and  we started to mix 2 origins that I thought might be interesting for a unique World Bean Blend ~ Chris loved it ,  you know those big blue eyes of his :)  we all got excited and he came up with the name all on his own  -  Surferz Roast ~  Thanks Chris !
