History of Angel Triathlon

8 May 2009 No Comment

I wanted to visit the Angels Foundation website and discovered a great video posted on the  history of  the Angel Triathlon in Lynchburg, Virginia.  I just competed in this a couple of weeks ago –   The families of  Dr.George and Nancy Broman (former Physician in Culpeper, Va- and whom “Broman Field” is named after )  founded this event after the passing of their grand daughter, Brittany in 2002 as a result of a car accident.  What a beautiful way to memorialize this young lady.  Her dad loved the sport of triathlon and it has grown from a hundred the first year to 500, and a waiting list!   We love this event and encourage you to join us next year. It’s a great  goal to set for yourself.  We all have  Angels in our lives – race  and “Tri” for them  .  Please visit the Angels Foundation for more info.
