Ah, the Peaberry Coffee Bean. SoooOoo popular in the U.S. is unique in itself. Let me explain: Only a small percentage of any crop is “peaberry”. Peaberries are a “mutation” whereby the seed of the coffee cherry, normally two halves or flat beans, form a “cylinder” or “pearl” shape instead and DO NOT divide.
