We were there both days, pitched my blue tent and served hot coffee until all thermos ran dry! Every ounce of coffee was gone, and several folks were actually dissappointed : ( it takes me about an hour to brew 7-8 pots – tedious task really, since they are not commercial brewers. I have a system down though…you have to when you need to rise at 4:30 or 5 a.m!!

I wanted to visit the Angels Foundation website and discovered a great video posted on the history of the Angel Triathlon in Lynchburg, Virginia. I just competed in this a couple of weeks ago – The families of Dr.George and Nancy Broman (former Physician in Culpeper, Va- and whom “Broman Field” is named after ) founded this event after the passing of their grandaughter, Brittany in 2002 as a result of a car accident. On a recent visit my two aunts and uncles stopped in Culpeper to visit me on their way to Lake Anna. It’s always great to see my family.
