An Eve with Best Selling Author: Jeanette Walls
On Thursday April 29, 2010, 7:00 pm - Author of acclaimed best sellers, The Glass Castle and Half Broke Horses, Jeanette Walls will be signing and discussing her books at a special event sponsored by Germanna Community College, benefiting The Culpeper Literacy Council.
Walls, is a local writer and journalist widely known as former gossip columnist for MSNBC.com. Her book, The Glass Castle, a memoir of her family’s repeated relocations during her childhood, published in 2005 sold over 1.5 million copies by the end of 2007. It had been translated into 16 languages and received numerous awards.
Jeanette’s latest book , Half Broke Horses is her first fiction book. It is a True – Life Novel, loosely based on her grandmother, Lily Casey Smith.
